A relatively new 2’s squad faced a strong Gloucester side for their first league match of the season. Isca were unlucky to concede a goal, but continued to hold a strong press throughout the first half. Constant attacking pressure from the 2’s and a higher pace than the opposition resulted in several penalty corners in the second half with the equaliser coming form a very well executed 1-2 corner between Billie Wood and Alice Lamb, Billie finding the backboard. Isca defence showed great resistance with some solid saves from Emma Halford to see out the game as a 1-1 draw. Great effort from all and a great foundation to build on for the rest of the season.
